Recently Converted some of my old collage work into an album cover for an awesome Philly band Pocket. Below is their artist statement!
locationiseverything:

hey.  so, for those of you who don’t know, some of my best friends and i started a band.  i feel extremely lucky to be doing this, because i have been trying for the past five years to start something, and every time, i had fallen short of reaching that goal.  i am really excited to be making music with people for the first time in half a decade, and feel incredibly fortunate to be doing something within philadelphia’s current, thriving DIY punk scene.  for the first time, i am an active participant in my city’s punk scene by being more than a viewer (to be a viewer is unbelievably important), and am actually creating things and sharing them with friends and new faces.  so far, the experience has been amazing and an absolute blast.  it’s cool to be writing music with close friends, especially a best friend of mine i have had since the 4th-grade (that was like, 1999 or 2000? tony hawk had just landed the 900, there was no such thing as no child left behind, mayor street was still mayor, and you could still skate LOVE Park).  we’re called “pocket”.  thanks, joe gallagher (TV Dinner fame), for the name.
we recorded this four song jawn at the end of january, and just released these songs on march 29th.  as of now, we’re working on two new songs and are hoping to do a split with a band (we don’t know who, yet) in the near future.
i don’t know who/what we sound like, so i guess look at the following things to find out.
if you wanna find out more about what we’re doing, we have a facebook page:http://www.facebook.com/pocketphilly
also, we have a bandcamp, where you can also find a link to our facebook:http://pocketphilly.bandcamp.com/
help spread the word about a new philly band.  stoked for new things.
thanks, if you’ve already let us play your basement or kitchen, or have been stoked about this with us.
rblg, or something

Got a spider bite on my arm this weekend, besides it’s incredible itchiness I was interested in the mark it left and wondered if it would make a good typographic element. This is just a fun business card concept for a company.

This was a rejected poster concept for a disaster relief project. I always like the feel of this illustration.

I am starting a new thing called Sketchy Wednesdays where I post random sketches I do. This one is a mariachi man playing a T-Bone steak.
